Netwerkevent: BelFil Business Bridge

Met dit initiatief willen we (West-)Vlaamse ondernemingen concreet laten kennismaken met de opportuniteiten in de Filipijnen, een van de snelst groeiende markten binnen ASEAN. In het licht van de gesprekken rond een finale Free Trade Agreement tussen de EU en de Filipijnen wordt het marktpotentieel bovendien nog versterkt, met vooruitzichten op verdere handelsliberalisering en een gunstiger investeringsklimaat. 

Veel Vlaamse bedrijven kijken naar internationale groei, maar missen vaak de juiste ingang of lokale context om effectief de stap te zetten. Dit evenement brengt ondernemers die actief zijn in de Filipijnen, experten en beleidsmakers samen om praktische inzichten en reële businesscases te delen rond export, investeringen en samenwerking. 

West-Vlaanderen is een sterke, exportgerichte regio en vormt een natuurlijke match met de Filipijnse markt. We willen (West-)Vlaamse bedrijven dan ook niet alleen inspireren, maar hen vooral helpen gerichte connecties te leggen en concrete businesskansen te realiseren.

The Belgian-Filipino Business Chamber (BFBC), in collaboration with the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) of the Philippines, the respective embassies and Voka - Chamber of Commerce West Flanders, is organising the event 'BelFil Business Bridge'. 

Through this initiative, we aim to provide (West) Flemish companies with concrete insights into the opportunities in the Philippines, one of the fastest-growing markets within ASEAN. In light of the ongoing efforts towards a final Free Trade Agreement between the EU and the Philippines, the market outlook is expected to become even more attractive, with prospects for further trade liberalisation and an improved investment climate. 

Many Flemish companies are looking towards international expansion but often lack the right entry point or local context to effectively take the next step. This event brings together entrepreneurs active in the Philippines, experts and policymakers to share practical insights and real business cases related to export, investment and cooperation. 

West Flanders is a strong, export-oriented region and represents a natural match with the fast-growing Philippine market. Our ambition is not only to inspire (West) Flemish companies, but above all to help them establish targeted connections and unlock tangible business opportunities.
