About Frédéric De Gucht
Frédéric De Gucht (born April 29, 1981, in Dendermonde) is a Business Engineer and a graduate of the Solvay Business School at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).
From 2003 to 2008, he was the manager of the student café De Confrater. He later worked for several companies, including the dredging company DEME, for which he lived in the United States for two years.
From 2014 to 2025, De Gucht was the CEO of the glass processing company Sprimoglass. In October 2025, he became Chairman of the liberal party Open Vld.
He currently resides in Brussels with his partner and their two children, aged 4 and 5.
